New age Chris Spheeris began authorship songs on his guitar as a adolescent. Inspired by the sacred and folks music of his Greek heritage and other world music, classical music, and crop up, Spheeris amalgamated these elements together into his have unique musical style. The family line aspects of his music were outstanding early in his life history as section of a duet with guitarist/composer Paul Voudouris in the '70s and early '80s. After they disbanded, Spheeris began to make a more complex, keyboard-based profound, which he attested on self-produced demonstration tapes. One of these demos found its style to the A&R department at Columbia Records, with whom Spheeris signed a carry on in 1985. The label released his debut album, Desires of the Heart, and Pathways to Surrender before he left in the early '90s to figure his own label, Essence, which released most of his solo output and 2 reunions with Voudouris: Spell and Zero merely the Truth. Along with his solo albums, Spheeris has too composed tons for cable and public television documentaries. He released his Higher Octave Records debut, Dancing With the Muse, in early 2000.
